A couple weeks ago Koda got really sick. She was throwing up anything she ate as well as panting and shivering and having horrible diarrhea and constipation. We brought her to the vet. They checked her out but they couldn't give us an answer other than that she probably got into something she shouldn't have..we think she got somehow got into the garbage and ate a large amount of spicy chili :C. She started getting better about two weeks after it started thank god..I was really worried.
Then about a week after Koda got sick Mystique my eldest rat who will have been with us three years December 18th started having mild vaginal bleeding (rats do not bleed when they go into heat..and even if they did she is too old to go into heat anymore)
I've been really worried since that it could be a tumor in her vaginal cavity but the vet thinks it may just be a urinary tract infection so she is on antibiotics and I haven't noticed blood since. Beside that Mystique is doing very well for her age..shes still very active and lively, never misses meal time
Also Ratzen Mauzers really needs some foster parents for some baby rats right now and we may possibly foster a group of baby girls..going today to see them!
Aside from the pet stuff I've also been sick for the last month..its seems to be getting worse everyday. I think its a flu. My headaches have been getting a lot worse, now I've been getting one REALLY bad one everyday...its torture. I have a MRI scheduled for December 18th which also is my 16th Birthday. To be honest I'll be relived if it turns out to be a tumor or something..that means there is hope I won't live to have these headaches forever. Almost nothing works to get rid of them even the stronger pain pills. My doctor told me if I keep taking the amount of ibuprofen I take a day (probably about 3 on a good day and 9-12 on a bad day) that my liver is going to be completely fried by the time I reach 20. The pain of a headache is much stronger than the worry of a ruined organ unfortunately.
My dad got laid off from work 2 weeks ago, he was really loyal to the company (he is a union carpenter) and stayed with them through the really slow times..and even still they let him go. Fortunately for us he was able to find more work quickly and is back to getting a steady paycheck but Christmas will certainly be a lighter this year, my parents are working to save money encase this should happen again.
All I'm asking for is dog training to save Koda's dog on dog aggression from getting any worse..she is well behaved and happy to make new friends until a dog wants to sniff her butt too long, then she goes into Cujo mode and pins them to the ground. Needless to stay we don't take her to the dog park anymore..
Ok I'm done

If I forgot some stuff, please excuse me; I ate the brown acid at Woodstock '69 and can scarcely remember my own name.
